Mission
With the increasing number of working parents today, providing quality child care at an affordable cost has become essential. Small Wonders was established in October 1978 to offer this support to families. It began as a small day care with just four staff members and has since grown into a large day care school housed in a newly constructed facility with sixteen staff members.
Over the years, Small Wonders has expanded in response to the growing needs of parents. This growth has allowed us to incorporate a variety of new programs into our day care school. These programs include preschool and Pre-K education, with Pre-K taught by a certified teacher, and private contracting through the Early Learning Resource Center for subsidized child care.

Preschool
In preschool, we make learning fun and engaging!
- Language & Literacy: Children are introduced to the alphabet, making letters memorable through stories, songs, and hands-on activities.
- Math & Early Concepts: Counting from 0 to 20, exploring colors and shapes, and learning early math concepts through interactive games.
- Science & Exploration: Simple, hands-on science experiments encourage curiosity, observation, and problem-solving.
- Life Skills: Emphasis on sharing, manners, teamwork, participation in classroom activities, potty training, and personal hygiene, helping children grow socially and emotionally.
We create a supportive and playful environment where your child can explore, learn, and thrive.
