PRESCHOOL --- Letters Tt, Uu, and Vv.  Practicing out ABC’s and 1, 2, 3’s. DAILY TOPICS – Valentine’s Day, Dental Health, and Groundhog Day.  Show and Tell is every Wednesday.

 

PRE-KINDERGARTEN --- DAILY TOPICS – Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, and Dental Health. We are currently working on the Report Cards.  Watch for those to be distributed.  We are also in the process of planning a Bake Sale.  Watch for details.

 

KINDERGARTEN --- DAILYN TOPICS --- Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, and Dental Health.  February is also Happy Heart Month so we will learn how to take care of our hearts through exercise and eating healthy food.

 

SPRING FUNDRAISER --- Our Spring Fundraiser has been distributed.  We are currently selling Gertrude Hawk Chocolate, Revellos Pizza, and Nature’s Vision.  All proceeds from this sale will be used for our playground. 

 

Revellos Pizza orders are due by February 9th.  Pizza will be delivered on February 12th.

 

Gertrude Hawk and Nature’s Vision orders are due by 3/2. 

 

SPRING/BUNNY PICTURES --- Mr. Andy will be here to take these picture on March 13th.

DECEMBER NEWSLETTER

 

PRESCHOOL --- Letters Ll, Mm, and Nn.  Numbers 7, 8, and 9.  Arts and Crafts will include Christmas projects and Baking cookies.  Wednesdays are Show and Tell -- Bring an object from home which starts with the letter of the week.  (There is no Show and Tell the Week of 12/25/17). 

 

PRE-KINDERGARTEN --- We are busy making lots of holiday projects and practicing our songs for the Christmas program on 12/21.  The students loved reading time with Grandma Carol on December 1.

 

KINDERGARTEN --- We are practicing are family words, making sentences, and reading our first book to the other classrooms.

 

NOTES ---

 

All classrooms are participating in a door decorating contest.  Watch for them to be revealed on December 8th.

 

Please remember to bring your warm coats, hats, and gloves on cold days.  We try to go outside every day weather permitting.

 

DECEMBER 7 --- Pearl Harbor Day, "A day that will live in infamy."

DECEMBER 12 --- The first day of Hanukkah.

DECEMBER 20 --- Hanukkah ends.

DECEMBER 21 --- Winter Solstice, the first day of winter and the shortest day of the year.

DECEMBER 25 --- Small Wonders/Back Mountain is closed in honor of Christmas Day.  Please have a safe and happy holiday

DECEMBER 26 --- Happy Kwanzaa.

JANUARY 1 --- Small Wonders/Back Mountain is closed in honor of New Year's Day.  Please have a safe and happy holiday.
