Monthly Calendar

TODDLERS --- We had so much fun in the month of September.  We made banana bread and homemade applesauce.  We played outdoors and said goodbye to our friend, Burt the butterfly.  For October, we are engaging in some apple fun and will start learning about pumpkins.  We will finish our month with some spooky Halloween fun.  October is Fire Safety Month.  The toddlers will be visited by the local fireman and their fire truck.  We will also start practicing Stop, Drop, and Roll.  Because we plan to enjoy as much outdoor time as possible in the upcoming weeks, we ask that you please send a sweatshirt or light jacket for the cooler mornings.  We are still collecting family pictures for our Thanksgiving bulletin board.  Once the board is done, we will create a photo album the children can look at throughout the year.

INFANTS --- The staff is so excited for this month's art projects and fall activities.  Please send in a coat, with your child's name on it, so we can enjoy some fun outdoor activities.  Watch for us to do a lot of pumpkin themed arts and crafts activities.

WATER PLAY --- We will continue to have water play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, weather permitting.  Please send your child to school in his/her swimsuit, with a towel and water shoes (no flip flops or crocs).
