2018 Kindergarten class graduates from Wilkes-Barre Academy

Wilkes-Barre Academy holds donation drive
November 18, 2018
Wilkes-Barre Academy students kicked off a donation drive with a Halloween dance. All middle school students were invited to donate items to the Blue Chip Farm Animal Rescue as their admission fee for the October dance. Afterward, the rest of the school was asked to lend their support with additional donations. The school managed to fill an entire SUV with items collected. Student council led the drive and plans to promote more charitable organizations throughout the school year. Wilkes-Barre Academy students place in math competition

Wilkes-Barre Academy participates in the Continental Math League each year. Five meets consisting of six- difficult mathematical questions complete the series. Students have 30 minutes to complete the six- questions and the top scores receive honorable mention, second-place and first-place awards. The quiet hallways of Wilkes-Barre Academy became alive when they welcomed students from Pre-K to eighth-grade to the 2016-2017 school session. Wilkes-Barre Academy cleans up the community
