Wilkes–Barre Academy encourages students to become caring individuals willing to share their time and resources to help their school, their communities, and their world. We sponsor many events throughout the school year that provide opportunities for support of worthy causes. Some of our past activities and events that have raised money and awareness include:

• Dress Down to support Heifer International
• Bake Sales for Student Council
• Bike A-thon for St. Jude's
• Blue Chips and SPCA donation drives
• Students participate in various different causes and/or activities.

We have sent care packages and holiday notes to our troops overseas, sung to our veterans, and entertained at nursing homes. The events and activities go on and on changing and being added to each year.
