Vouchers

Dear Parents,

If you are interested in a convenient way to reduce tuition and day-care fees, the Wilkes-Barre Academy voucher program can help. Voucher purchases earn tuition or fee credits. These credits can be used to pay tuition or day care fees. The process is that simple.

Every Monday, certificates for local stores and restaurants can be purchased at the Wilkes-Barre Academy cafeteria between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. (Summer hours are 4:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. ) Some certificates purchased on Monday must be ordered. They will be available for pick-up on Friday. Once certificates are purchased, a tuition/fee credit slip is issued and placed in the office Voucher Box for pick up. Credits carry from 2% to 18% of your purchase amount based on participating retailers’ choices. Credits can be redeemed by subtracting the amount earned from the tuition/fee owed. Then, the credit slips are enclosed with the reduced tuition/fee balance. Credits can be used immediately or saved for later use.

A list of participating retailers is available for review during sale times. Retailers not listed may still participate in the voucher program. The website, www.glscrip.com provides a complete list of participating businesses, and vouchers can be ordered through Wilkes-Barre Academy for these establishments.

For more information regarding this program, contact a member of the voucher committee. Voucher committee members are available every Monday in the Wilkes-Barre Academy cafeteria between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M.
